Nika Life: The Room

Imagine what becomes possible when the people around you actually know what you’re trying to create.

The Room is a mentorship experience with me, combining private guidance focused on your life with the community and shared learning of The Practice. Choose 12 weeks or a full year, with personal support and time between sessions to put what you’re learning into practice.

They know the bigger picture.

They remember why you started.

They remember what you said mattered to you.

They know what you’ve been working toward long enough to recognize when you’re growing — and when you’re just scared.

And when you change your mind, they also know enough about you to ask:

Did you actually change your mind—or did something just get uncomfortable?

That is the kind of room I want this to be.

This is not a healing program.

Of course things will come up.

Old patterns do not politely disappear because we have goals now.

Sometimes we will need to stop and look at what’s underneath something.

But we’re not spending our time together endlessly digging around looking for what’s wrong with you.

Most of our attention is on:

  • What do you want to create now?
  • What’s the next step?
  • What are you learning?
  • What isn’t working?
  • What needs to change?
  • Who or what could help?
  • What do you know now that you didn’t know three months ago?

Then we move.

This is your time with me — with the support of a group.

You’re not joining The Room because I’m going to put a bunch of smart women together and tell everybody to help each other figure it out.

You’re here to work with me.

Throughout your mentorship, I get to know you.

I know what you’re creating, what matters to you, what you keep coming back to, where you’ve changed your mind, where you tend to get stuck and where I can see you’re ready for more.

The group makes that even better.

You have other capable women around you who know what you’re working toward, who can offer perspective, experience, connections and support — and sometimes they’ll see something neither one of us saw.

But the group is not a substitute for my guidance.

This is your mentorship with me, inside a community of women who are also invested in what you’re creating.

I actually know you in this room.

That’s one of the biggest differences.

I know what you’re building.

I know what matters to you.

I have context.

So if something starts going sideways, we aren’t spending half the conversation bringing me up to speed.

I can say:

“Hold on. This looks a lot like what happened before.”

Or:

“You’re saying you need a new plan, but I don’t think the plan is the problem.”

Or:

“You said freedom mattered to you, but everything you’re building right now gives you less of it.”

Sometimes I’ll be wrong.

And you can tell me that.

You are still the authority on your life.

That matters to me.

Your membership in The Practice is included throughout your mentorship. You’ll join the same two monthly gatherings as Practice members, with teaching, questions, hot seats, shared experiences, and practical next steps. These group sessions complement our private work together.

Sometimes I’ll teach.

Sometimes someone needs a hot seat.

Sometimes we’ll talk business.

Sometimes the thing affecting your business has absolutely nothing to do with business.

Sometimes we’ll brainstorm.

Sometimes another woman in the room will know far more about the issue than I do.

Perfect.

I do not want to be the smartest person in every subject in this room.

You’ll also have a weekly Monday question option.

You’ll be able to submit what is happening while it’s actually happening.

A decision.

An idea.

Something you’re trying to figure out.

Something that worked.

Something that didn’t.

I’ll answer those submitted questions in a recorded weekly session.

Some answers may take five minutes.

Some will clearly need to come into our deeper group work.

It gives us a way to stay connected to what is unfolding without having to schedule another private appointment every time life happens.

There will be greater access to me.

Your mentorship includes six private sessions over 12 weeks, or 24 private sessions across the year. In the 12-week experience, we meet every other week, with integration weeks between. We use that space to put things into practice, notice what’s changing, and bring your real-life experiences into our next conversation.

Voice-note communication with clear boundaries.

Intuitive guidance when it is helpful.

And the benefit of me knowing enough about you to recognize what I’m actually looking at.

I do not know everything. And I don’t need to.

I’m not your financial advisor.

I’m not an attorney.

I don’t know every marketing strategy, social-media system or business model.

And I’m never going to pretend I know something just because I’m the person leading the room.

What I do have is a pretty incredible network.

Over the years, I’ve built relationships with people who know things I don’t.

Finance.

Marketing.

Social media.

Legal.

Business.

Branding.

Wellness.

Relationships.

And all kinds of areas we probably haven’t even realized we’ll need yet.

So if something comes up and I’m not the right person to answer it, there’s a very good chance I know someone who is.

We bring them in.

And that is only half of what excites me about this room.

The women inside it are going to know things too.

I don’t want a group of women coming into a room assuming Marsha is the only one with something valuable to offer.

Absolutely not.

One woman may understand money.

Another may be incredible at systems.

Another may know branding.

Another may understand people.

Another may be a healer, artist, strategist, writer, speaker, therapist, business owner — or something none of us expected.

Part of what I want to do is notice those gifts and create opportunities for the women in this room to use them.

Maybe you teach us something.

Maybe another woman needs exactly what you know.

Maybe you lead part of a conversation.

Maybe something you’ve considered “just something I’m good at” becomes something you realize has real value.

That matters to me too.

Because this room isn’t only about building the thing you came in wanting to build.

It’s also about becoming more willing to own what you bring.

Your knowledge.

Your experience.

Your perspective.

Your gifts.

And your ability to contribute to other people.

Sometimes stepping into your power looks like trusting yourself enough to make the decision.

And sometimes it looks like finally realizing:

Wait. I actually have something to offer here.

That’s the kind of community I want to build.

Not a room full of people waiting for me to talk.

A room full of capable women becoming more confident in what they know — and using it.

When we need another kind of expertise, we use the room and the network around it.

Sometimes that means I bring in someone I already know.

Sometimes one of the women sitting right beside us is exactly the person we needed.

And as this community grows, I fully expect some of today’s members to become tomorrow’s experts, collaborators, workshop leaders and speakers.

That’s part of the point.

The Room Day Retreat

An annual in-person gathering for Room participants—a day to step away from your usual routine, connect with one another, and spend time together beyond our regular sessions.

We’ll come together for intuitive guidance, meaningful conversation, shared experiences, reflection, and some fun. There will be space to explore what you’re learning and enjoy being with the people sharing this experience.

The Room Day Retreat is included in the annual mentorship. Participants in the 12-week mentorship may attend for an additional fee, subject to availability. Travel and lodging are separate.

Room members also receive special member pricing for other Nika Life retreats and in-person experiences.

What I want you to see changing

I want something in your life to be different because you were here.

Something exists that didn’t exist before.

Something changed because you finally changed it.

You made the decision.

Built the thing.

Started the project.

Changed how you work.

Asked for the opportunity.

Made yourself visible.

Created something that actually feels like you.

And along the way, you learned that you can trust yourself to figure things out.

You don’t need me to know everything.

You don’t need you to know everything before you begin either.

You need to know what matters, take the next honest step, get the right support when you need it — and be willing to adjust as you learn.

You can always pivot.

That is what creating a life actually looks like.
